Strategies for Supporting Children with Speech Language & Communication Needs 9.30 a.m. – 3.00 p.m. 27/05/10 Strategies for Supporting Children with Speech, Language & Communication Needs Participants will:- Be able to understand speech, language and communication needs Use individual strategies and resources when working with children presenting with these needs. Working with pupils with Social Communication Difficulties including Autistic Spectrum Disorders in secondary schools 9.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. 06/07/10 Working with pupils with Social Communication Difficulties including Autistic Spectrum Disorders in secondary schools Programme objectives: Raising awareness of the difficulties experienced by pupils with an ASD in secondary schools

To book on courses you can contact CLASS at St John Fisher ASD resource base on 0161 320 5232 If there is enough interest we may run an additional 'meeting the needs course' in early july as the one advertsied above is nearly full. | |

Just to let everyone know. CLASS have put on an extra date for our 'Meeting the Needs' course, this will hopefully encourage school staff who may have a child with autism in their class next year. The course is running at Greenside as usual on July 5th. All welcome | |
