Hi there evreyone just thought i would share some advice with you regarding the blue badge. After a failed attempt i re applied stating the facts regarding autism and how it can be difficult for the child and thier parents when they are out and about. After speaking to a member of the adult service team they said that they may be making changes to the application form for the Blue Badges as at present it is not applicable to people with autism. SO lets hope that through groups of parents like us we can educate the powers that be.

Hi Yes thanks I wasnt sure if you could get a blue badge for Autism, My son is 3 nearly 4 hasn't been diagnosed just yet still going through the system. My son has difficulty in walking and the blue badge would definately come in handy when taking him to appointments in the near future
